As the Structural Team, we are responsible for the overall integrity and functionality of the boat’s hull. This year our focus is on three main areas: maintaining and optimizing our current solar boat to ensure it remains operational; restoring the S&I hull to a sail-ready condition and preparing it for integration with our mechanical systems; and developing a new hull design for our upcoming methanol-powered boat. While this is an ambitious undertaking, our dedicated team of structural engineers is fully committed to working hard and making meaningful progress on all projects. With motivation, teamwork and technical expertise, we strive to make a significant contribution to the team’s success this season.
