ACES Energy is a Dutch company specializing in energy storage solutions. Founded in 2015, the company’s name, ACES, stands for Affordable Compact Energy Solutions. With a combined experience of over 60 years in the power and energy industry, the team at ACES Energy began developing energy storage solutions in the first three years of operation. By the beginning of 2017, the company had successfully sold its first Lithium batteries. The primary goal of ACES Energy was to create Lithium battery solutions that could easily replace lead acid batteries, offering customers lower ownership costs and improved performance. The batteries and battery management systems are primarily developed in the Netherlands, with the company also designing fully automated testing systems to maintain the high quality of its BMS.

Benchmark Almelo is part of the multinational Benchmark Inc., a listed company in the field of manufacturing electronics and providing services to original equipment manufacturers (OEMs). At Benchmark we work for companies that make an impact with their innovations, which develop new products that increase safety, health or increase convenience. They supply these products from product design to volume production and directly to the end user. This entire process, from design to production, is carried out entirely in Almelo. Benchmark currently has 23 locations. More than 650 employees work in Almelo.
