As part of the Control Systems subteam, I am responsible for modeling, measuring and controlling the dynamics of the boat. I develop mathematical models, collect real-time sensor data and design control algorithms to adjust the hydrofoils, which helps keep the boat stable and in the air. The Control System Engineer role combines theory with hands-on experimentation to push the boundaries of hydrofoiling performance.
