In high school I participated in the Young Solar Challenge which made me really excited about applying the knowledge I gained in a physical project. That experience left me longing for more so when I found out about Solar Boat Twente I had to join the team! I applied as Propulsion Engineer because it combines different aspects such as mechanical analysis, propeller design and power transfer. This part of the boat interests me in particular and also fits nicely to my Bachelor Advanced Technology.
