As soon as it was time for me to decide my plans for the upcoming year, I knew I wanted to take part in the amazing opportunity of innovating the future with a student team. The atmosphere, friendship, one years hard work paid off by one final race at the end of the year sounded like the best way to finish my studies. I chose Solar Boat Twente thanks to my marine family background, and as soon as I heard about the team, I was immediately hooked in such an ambitious project. It combined everything I'm passionate about, clean energy, cutting edge technology and hands on engineering!
