After having gruduated from the bachelor Mechanical Engineering on the University of Twente, I was looking for a fun and educational challenge within the field of engineering. Joining Solar Boat Twente has caught caught my attention through her visions and goals and peaked my interest with an innovative and intrequing problem: designing a boat powered by methanol which has potential to improve the maritime sector. My role as a power systems engineer lets me explore a different field of engineering, which I am incredibly excited about, hoping to apply the skills I learn this year in my future career.
